About Kenya

Meet the Black Southern Doula, Kenya

Kenya Hunter is an Atlanta based birthworker specializing in postpartum, nutrition, and abortion doula care. After seven years of journalism where Kenya reported on Georgia's maternal mortality crisis and the state's abortion ban, Kenya chose birthwork to further the fight for reproductive justice. Kenya believes that every birthing person is entitled to dignifying, compassionate care through every stage.
